Ah, your car will be off to Dick Lovett Spraymaster in sunny Swindon! 😎 They retro-fitted the Sport Design pack to my 911.
👍 I should know where tomorrow. Will let you know.

Ouch and not nice. Hope it’s all sorted without too much trouble

My Gtechniq dealer mentioned to me about it being covered by insurance for it to be re done in situations like this. May be worth asking your Gtechniq dealer. I will be seeing them in a few weeks for another detailing job so will ask more info.

Panel wipe will be required to remove before body shop do any work. Make sure they are advised it has Gtechniq coating otherwise the paint won’t stick for long.

It was a box transit type that tried to squeeze past but didn't make it!! At least they owned up. Don't think they had much choice as a pot of decorators witnessed it.

The real villain was the kitchen guy working next door. We live on a narrow cul de sac and kitchen guy had parked his beaten up old transit opposite, but about 6" from the kerb. Had words afterwards and told him what had happened. He moved it so perhaps saved further trouble. But selfish unthinking prat never considering others.

It'll repair but had there been a fire or a medical emergency then goodness know what the outcome would have been.

So I have get car repaired and all that entails, the charity that own the box van get their insurance stuffed up and kitchen guy looses one minute of his valuable time!!

It really pees me off!

Thanks. Yes, I've emailed my detailer to find out exactly what he used so will pass that on. The perps insurance rang this pm - Aviva - and didn't seemed fussed at all that Porsche Claims had taken control, just as long as I was happy. Some good news then - hopefully!

Thanks Colin. After speaking with the guys who were around when it happened it turns out that the SOBs weren’t going to stop. It was just by chance that I looked out of the window when I did. 😡😡😡
