Nice ending to a sh1tty 9 months...and a nice beginning to the next stage...

PS, if you need a driver after the hip op, just give me a shout😉

Very nice, I've always loved the 4GTS in its various forms. I borrowed the 991.1 version for a few days a few years ago and was very impressed. Good luck with the hip replacement. My wife's business partner had both his hips replaced last year and I volunteered to pick him up from the hospital. He was in a lot of pain getting in and out of the car, but 6 months on he's walking much better than before the op. But he was off work for a good couple of months recovering and certainly couldn't drive in that time. So just take it easy and get plenty of books ready!

Hi Smithy
I’ve followed all the antics with your Cayenne, really pleased you’ve a fantastic car at the end of it all.
I hope the op goes well, I can’t imagine a much better tonic to aid recovery than the thought of getting back behind the wheel of a 911. I too have to wait a few more weeks before I can join the “4 club”. It’s not easy!
Will you be keeping both “fobs” under your pillow or is Mrs S allowed the odd shopping trip out in it?

Fantastic looking GTS! Agate grey looks the dogs when it's dirty! Nearly didn't clean mine last weekend as it looked so good.
I only hope the Cayenne I've got on order doesn't give me similar issues..
Enjoy! 8-)

Simon, apologies about the deployed spoiler. I was messing with the buttons. I kind of like it stuck out though. 8-)

Ha ha! You’re forgiven, Smithy. ;)

But be prepared for a bit of gentle ribbing if future photos also feature the deployed rear spoiler. Unless the pics are when you’re in motion and the spoiler has risen for aerodynamic reasons, of course!

Cheers,

Simon
I think mine spoiler must be broken as well, it seems to spend a lot of time in the up position even without me using the override button ;)

Oops seems like a common problem as mine seems to be up a lot too although never when stationary except for washing the car [emoji6]

Your GTS looks awesome... you should leave the ‘design mud’ on it, it gives more character [emoji41]

Wishing you fast recovery, you certainly have a great motivation to get mobile.
