Well, after what seems like an eternity of searching various sales sites, forums and classifieds I’ve finally got a GTS on my drive. I’m only three days in but already in love with it. It’s car number 19 in my 23 years of driving and I’ve been lucky to have some very nice and fast cars but this deffo sits top of the pile for all round appeal and wow factor. I’d like to thank this forum for some great advice and I plan to keep contributing and building my knowledge base here. Not the best photo but it needs a good clean after a 330 mile drive home from Porsche Solihull.

Cheers,

Scotty

Feeling slightly inadequate here. My Macan is my 7th car in 30 years of motoring. The omens suggest I might be keeping it for a while!

Yep. Similar for me. To have that amount of spare cash to throw around on cars eh? ;)

That is an interesting observation... I had 10 cars in my firs 10 years of my professional life, 3 cars in my 2nd decade, 2 cars in my 3rd. Let’s see if I can do 1 in my 4th.
Although it is unlikely as I am already eyeing 911s. Grrr [emoji51]

Got me thinking about how many cars I’ve actually owned (apart from company cars):

Datsun Cherry estate
Vauxhall Chevette
Ford Escort MK2 (loved that car - all souped up!)
Vauxhall Cavalier MK 3 4x4
Audi 80 Sport
BMW 325 convertible
Lexus RX SUV
Audi Q5
Porsche Macan

That’s the lot from 1988 to now!
