Much has been said about the shape and size of the Macan boot... and it suitability for different breed of dogs.

How about posting few pics of our K9s? Here are my two small Schnauzers.

I have bought two comfy mats/beds for them so that they travel in style and so that they can see out the window. Everybody is happy [emoji38]

This was our Arthur, a medium sized labrador, he loved the rides in the Macan.

My Lab Ghyll .. if anything the boots too big as he skids about in it .. regularly has him and two working working cockers in there for 2 plus hours no problem .. they love it.

This is German shepherd Mango ... loves to ride in the ( well protected) back on trips to Anglesey.

Is that cage made for Mecan, seems to be a good fit, is it freestanding or does it anchor?

Yes it is made for the Macan by these guys at TransL9 : https://www.transk9.com/select/porsche/porsche-macan/
It is freestanding although they do provide straps to anchor it, but so far it hasn’t moved since I’ve installed it.
