Wheely bright day today 😎
I bought a set of woolies to help clean the spiders on the Cayenne. Ok on the spokes but I found them realy good at cleaning the inside of the wide rims which can be a PITA. I have tried a lot of different brushes and these are the best so far.

Those wheels really suit the MG...more so than the cross spoke originals.MikeM wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 10:43 pmWell spotted Andy let’s see some picsAndyC160 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 9:11 pm Looking good Mike. Middle car...MG V8?
I gave the wheels on my Macan a good wash today aswell...must get some pics as I'm impressed with the way they look if I do say so myself. Although it did take a good 5 hours so they bloody well should!
Yesterday I did the underside and exhaust.

Here's a couple of mine... does anyone know where I can get the standard valve caps in silver/grey? The green ones bug me a little!

RV8 if I'm not mistaken with upgraded wheels. The Minilites suit it well. I have a certain hankering for one of those as used to own a MGC roadster at at time.

You are correct Rab, app 600 registered or on Sorn in the UK, the wheels are 17” 3 part split rims whereas the originals are 2 part 16”, removed from the car as new and safely boxed away. Around 800 MGC with a lot either fully refurbished or rebuild projects. So there’s still the time and opportunity

Nice wheels on the Lotus with those branded forged calipers it looks great, what colour is the car? Re the valve caps you could paint them with an aerosol spray.AndyC160 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 3:23 pmThose wheels really suit the MG...more so than the cross spoke originals.MikeM wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 10:43 pmWell spotted Andy let’s see some picsAndyC160 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 9:11 pm Looking good Mike. Those marks on your Macan disc look a bit iffy. Are they as bad as they look in the image?AndyC160 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 3:23 pmThose wheels really suit the MG...more so than the cross spoke originals.MikeM wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 10:43 pmWell spotted Andy let’s see some picsAndyC160 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 9:11 pm Looking good Mike. They are fine. If you're talking about the dark marks at the top they are just from the wash and from moving the car a little to get the light rust off the disc.Nuclear Nick wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 9:25 pmThose marks on your Macan disc look a bit iffy. Are they as bad as they look in the image?
