😊

Thanks for all your kind comments!

Did a few hundred miles on Friday; gentle M5, accross the top of Exmoor to the coast and back via Porlock Hill. What a car! Instant power, nice noise, super handling (bit of tyre roar and not the most comfortable over jiggly bits but actually more compliant than I anticipated.)

Nice to get the hood down for a bit - very happy to sit in the mid to late ‘70 mph with little or no intrusion; the windstop does a really good job. The “frunk” will take much more that you might imagine (4 or 5 x Tesco bags for example 😉)

The PPF is invisible and has a ceramic coating on top. My guy also put film on all the shiny bits of dash and switches too.

The full setting up of the PCM / connect etc etc is going to take a while (🤓)

Just hoping for a bit more sunshine soon🤞

Very nice spec choices there Paul, if you do plan to fill it with Tesco bags make sure you socially distance in the car park, about 20 metres should do it 😷👍

Wow, Paul. Just wow! Looks amazing.

As said before, I think that silver goes really well with the blue hood. And the 992 is Porsche’s best looking cabriolet so far!

Congrats & enjoy! And may the sun shine forever...! 😎

Was at OPC earlier this week and saw someone pick up a 4S Cab (traded in a 991 Turbo S Cab!) in dark blue.

As I’ve said on the UK911 Forum, the 992 has really grown on me....

Absolutely recommend Damien at Autotrilogy; really passionate about everything he does whether it be just detailing and ceramic coat or full PPF.

Mine’s going back in on Wednesday for a full inspection now that everything has had time to harden properly, full re valet all foc !👍

No, they can’t put film on the lamps because they are polycarbonate (or something) and it won’t bond.

I`m pondering this myself. I think it is something to do with the heat from the headlights reacting with the film and possibly causing the uv layer on the Perspex to de-laminate when removing the film but wondered if this was not such a problem with LED headlights as they would create a lot less heat? lots of discussion and views on this apparently. Its a shame to cover the bodywork and leave the lights to get pebble dashed!

I had the headlights done on my 911 and there wasn't an issue in almost two years. It was part of the kit that the installer used so who ever it came from certainly didn't see any issues.
