Thats disappointing. Solihull were extremely good with my latest warranty claim (powered door mirror) which they might have argued was self inflicted or at least not their problem? Must be Porsche GB tightening up then? Not a good look for them at all. Doesn't make it easier to choose to pay the Porsche premium.

Yes I did. Crazing on both lights of my 717S. Took it back to the OPC and was promptly informed that Porsche GB had issued a warranty bulletin (the previous day) indicating that this was NOT to be covered under GB warranty.

My concern was that a good stone chip and the light unit would shatter. Long story short, the dealer principal agreed a cost share - I paid £350 contribution and they replaced both headlights.

I wasn't impressed. Surely an MOT failure?

Happy

For those of us not yet suffering this , might be worth spraying them with 303 Aerospace Protectant, I have just wandered out and done that. At least it will provide some UV protection.

Wonder if it will work on my bald head (made worse by my cutting my own hair during lockdown) ?

Wow! Seems Porsche GB are so happy to P*ss off their customers with such cheap crappy products
Impressive standards of cheapening what I once classed as a good brand...

I no longer have this impression until I’m proven otherwise.

No point having it maintained by Porsche anymore if they don’t uphold their own values in their product or their customer service!!!
