Lane Keep Assist not working

Just wondering if anyone has experienced any issues with the above?

From the display on the dashboard it looks like the car is detecting the lane boundaries but there is no corrective action to keep in lane.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot or resolve?

I’ve recently bought the car from an independent dealer but plan to take out an official Porsche warranty one the 3 month grace period has expires hence why I am trying to avoid a visit to an OPC at this point.

Just checking you have lane keep assist and not lane departure warning as they are not the same - the latter only giving an audible warning but no action

Look at the vehicle settings for assiastance via the MFD. there are two, the strongest of which is early. I had initially set my car on the weaker setting and when I recently moved it too early I found it was alot better and surprisingly prefeerred it.

Worth pointing out that, if this is broken, it will likely fail the 111 point check before Porsche will put the warranty on it.

Good advice in the other two posts.

That setting is Gen 2 only.

I suspect Tracky is right and that the car has lane departure warning and not keep assist.

Thanks all

Just checked the equipment list on the original advert and no mention of either lane keep assist or lane departure warning so I am assuming whatever I have was standard fitment.

Does anyone recall what came as standard on a MY17 Turbo?

The car was serviced at an OPC prior to collection and given a clean bill of health. Will be interesting to see how much more thorough the 111 point check is

Do you have a button to turn Lane Keep Assist on?

Neithet feature is standard.

See attached pics. One is the guide for LKA (lane keep assist) the other for LDW (lane departure warning). Just compare your centre console switch with those in the pics to confirm which one you have fitted. It sounds to me like you have lane departure warning fitted...hth

Lane Departure Warning was standard on my MY2017 Turbo. I certainly would not have ordered such an infernal nuisance! It remains permanently switched off.
