I've got the Macan booked in for it's long life guarantee condition report - 2 years after delivery.
My OPC say they need the car for 2 hours. What's involved in making the report. 2 hours seems a long time!
Also, it appears from reading the guarantee & maintenance book that the work is carried out free of charge. Is this correct?

Have not heard of this before. Has it had its 2 year/20,000 mile service yet?
Being a sceptic, if it’s a free service, they may well be looking for ‘chargeable’ items to recommend.

The servicing on my car is out of sync. I had an intermediate service and brake fluid change when it was a year old (when I bought it) rather than two.
The Condition Report is mention in the Guarantee & Maintenance booklet on page 7 - "Within the framework of servicing, the Porsche partner will make out a free Condition Report after the first two years. This is intended to ensure that the conditions for the Long-life guarantee are not jeopardised."
The bit about "within the framework of servicing" makes me wonder if they'll charge for it as the car isn't actually having a service because it's not due.
There is also a section to be stamped, dated and mileage recorded on page 20 for the Record of Long-life guarantee condition report. Here it says "two years after delivery and every two years afterwards, the vehicle will be checked - at no additional charge to the customer - to protect the claims as part of the Long-life guarantee."

Thanks for confirming...I guess most are stamped like yours. I'm now thinking they'll try and charge me to carry it out because it's not being done as part of a service.
