Is this normal (rust/corrosion)

It depends on the products used. My BMW 535d always had rusty hubs, I didn’t care too much for washing it and it saw a lot of acidic wheel cleaner from the hand car wash places, I assume it was this that made the hubs rusty. On the other hand my four year old Macan does not see any acidic wheel cleaner, only Bilberry, and the hubs have no rust at all.

Maybe just clean them up and us Bilberry from now on.

Is this bilberry wheel cleaner better than an iron fallout spray such as gtechniq w6 or should it be used in conjunction with?
