Anyone know if HBA can be retrofitted?

Cheers
Is HBA an option with PDLS?

I have it with PDLS+ and unlike my previous Audis it's not an on/off. It turns various LEDs off depending on the oncoming light source; you can see the light pattern changing in stages
On what car?

Not a Macan you won’t.

What you describe is matrix lights which isn’t an option on the Macan. Had them on my previous AMG e class and current 992.

They are generally very good.

Interesting. I’d rather go main dealer though for any work. Send me a message?

Just to add I have enabled this feature on my car with xenon and I can confirm it does a lot more than just a straight on and off. It works in stages, sometimes off, some time raises beam higher(say if the car is seen but its say 150 meters in front of you)

The car will change what it emphasises the light on

I was driving wife’s last night across forest - as you slow down you can see it throwing the beam out wide to help with junctions.

These are of course LED ones

Agreed. I came to a Macan with PDLS + from a BMW with adaptive/ matrix lights. However, as you said above in another post PDLS+ is not full matrix lights. I find it very much a halfway house altering beam length with speed and width for junctions. Better than just auto control of main/dip beam but no way as good as full matrix light which will put full beam either side of a slow-moving vehicle on dipped beam you wish to overtake on a dark country road without dazzling the driver of the car in front.

I am glad I have PDLS+ plus gladly would pay more for full matrix and am disappointed Porsche have not round to offering it on the Macan yet despite the wider VW group having it available on the Golf range and it being available on Cayenne and 911

Have to be a big will I should imagine - not sure what the take would be to warrant the development when fresh model already being developed

Not a cheap option either, can’t remember what I paid on the 992 but I think it was a lot - standard on my old amg

Anyhoo. Anyone have any experience adding High Bean Assist to a new PDLS Macan? Sales have said it’s not a Tequipment option so I plan to chat to the workshop manager and hope to sound a bit knowledgeable in front of him. Hopefully just a software change. Cheers...
