Not a cheap option either, can’t remember what I paid on the 992 but I think it was a lot - standard on my old amg
Matrix Light tends to cost £1000 to £1500. Cayenne is £1380 or roughly £750 more than PDLS +

They have the units for the Cayenne/911. The Cayenne unit is very similar in shape to a Macan lighting unit

As for demand, there are a fair number of Macan purchasers coming from recent BMW's with matrix lights. they are available on most cars considered Macan Competitors i.e BMW X3/4 Audi Q' etc

I can see Porshe are stretched in staffing development areas and time and staff could be an issue but really it is the priority they choose to give to the allocation of resource.

I doubt they will do it if its not an approved retrofit. Better off getting someone with the correct software to do it but make sure it doesn't affect the warranty.

Anyone know if HBA can be retrofitted?

Cheers
Is HBA an option with PDLS?

I have it with PDLS+ and unlike my previous Audis it's not an on/off. It turns various LEDs off depending on the oncoming light source; you can see the light pattern changing in stages
On what car?

Not a Macan you won’t.

What you describe is matrix lights which isn’t an option on the Macan. Had them on my previous AMG e class and current 992.

They are generally very good.
Tracky I was only reporting what I had observed and you had me doubting myself. I accept the lights are not as sophisticated as other Porsche models but I stand by my comments, backed up by the write up in the owners manual. And for the record I didn't call them matrix lights

Hey Don, I live across the pond, are you still able to help? I’m looking to get high beam assist on my ‘18 Macan with lane assist. I went to message you privately but I’m too new here. Thanks.

Subscribe to my YouTube channel, I'm going to be posting a video later today/tomorrow on how to enable PDLS+ using piwis.

You can then take this video to a porsche specialist or someone piwis to enable for you.
