It seems my Macan S delivered on 1 Sept 2019 is in need of new tyres to replace the original Hankooks which have covered 13,500 miles.
Can anybody tell me:
1. Is this is a record for longevity?
2. Are Michelin Cross Climates a good replacement option?
Thanks.

That’s not good, done 25,000 miles in my 2018 Macan, Michelin latsport 3, should get another 5,000 out of them

1) Depends on how many times you have used launch control? Being serious, how has the car been used? If in a country area with lots of braking and bends and not much motorway/duel carriageway cruising use that does put up tyre wear.
2) I am not aware of Mich Cross Climate having Porsche Type N approval so would hit the value of the car and in extremist cause warranty issues(?). I do find it a pity that Porsche has not given N approval to any of the modern all-season tyres that meet snowflake standards as if they did living where I do they would be my all year round set.

2019 Macan S Porsche code PKW8WKI8
Michelin Cross Climate are not NO Porsche approved, so will impact your warranty.
I had Michelin Latitude Sport 3 on my SD and they did 18,000 miles using predominantly cross country A and B roads. If you do mainly low speed town roads and / or motorway miles, then tyre life is much longer on the Macan.

I got 21.5k out of the Pirelli P-Zeros the car came with. Didn't do enough on the Michelin Latitudes to forecast how long they might have lasted.

20k on my P Zero's with 21" wheels. I could have got more but got an un-repairable puncture and they were all below 3mm, so decided to upgrade to Michelin Latitude.
June 2017 Macan GTS in Carmine red with 21” gloss black sport classics, GTS leather package, Air, PASM, PDLS+, pano roof, Sports Chrono, 18 way seats, BOSE, surround view, heated seats front and rear, carbon side blades and carbon interior package.
Yes, the lack of an N rating only dawned on me after posting, a shame as they're rated as quieter and more fuel efficient. Porsche probably just want to keep selling winter sets or am I just being cynical?
Motorways have probably only accounted for 3 of those 13k miles and while I didn't specify the sports chrono package I have THOROUGHLY enjoyed the handling. Maybe year two ownership will be more restrained and kinder to the rubber ........... then again maybe not!
I think the Michelin Latitudes are edging it, for comparison purposes and 1 less decibel of road noise, at the moment.

Did Porsche really originally fit Hankooks?
