Hey everyone, I noticed a rattle in my passenger side door so I decided to investigate. I took off the door card and found that the culprit was a loose wiring connector. I had a feel around but could not find anything to connect it to.

I was wondering if someone could help me identify what it is for? Everything on the door works fine so I'm at a loss as to what it might be for.

Thanks in advance!

Maybe part of the cabling for Burmester speakers? When fitted there are 16 of them somewhere 😖 🤫 Can’t think of any other component requirement. Or could be that it’s a standard harness for a range of the group brands and they just use what’s required for individual models.

It wasn't esay for me to be definitive about the colours based on the picture but I agree the outer handle switch is the most likely.

Maybe for the keyless entry sensor in the door handle.
