I'm within 6 months so will consider it.

If you can get a full refund I would certainly consider it, they clearly haven’t found the cause.

Possibly. Then again all cars with similar spec are now more expensive. Not a nice situation to be in at all.
Imagine how happy I am to pay £900 for my next service in 3 weeks...

Newcastle has been trying to fix it but car came from Bolton? I think the supplying dealer should take it back and work to fix it, not returning it until it is definitely fixed. A decent loan car should be provided and I’d suggest a free service as goodwill for all the hassle

Car is on its way to NCL but that's what I want to happen now. I had so far a Honda HR-V, a Nissan Xtrail, an audi a4 diesel, an audi a5 diesel, then OPC gave me the Panamera and a Cayenne for a couple of days each.

On the service, that is a minimum.

Sorry to hear the issues. Is there anything on the display in the dash when you lock the car? Beeping when you lock it to tell you that something is open is a pretty 'obvious' sign to the dealer that something is wrong or not.....so it suggests that they did something to stop it that is now occurring again?

Good To Know says:

The vehicle cannot be locked if the doors, bonnet and tailgate are not fully closed. A warning signal sounds and a warning message appears on the multi-function display; the hazard warning lights do not flash.

On my 2015 SD the vehicle could be locked with the bonnet slightly open. I did so when connecting my CTEK in the garage. It did, however, beep to warn me that the bonnet wasn't fully closed, and there was also a message on the MFD.

Plus it used to show this on the PCC app whilst in this condition:

All compartments were closed. I even took a video of me opening and closing everything.

The bonnet, I had not opened it and the first time I locked the car returning from the dealer it didn't beep. Then I drove 3 miles and beeped. Nothing to do with what I do.

Latest on the saga.

Car still at OPC NCL and I was first given a SEAT something , now in an Audi Q5.

They now think it could be the spare key triggering something from a distance.

Has anyone ever heard of that? Spare key trying to connect to the car and killing the battery in the process?

They want the key in the workshop.
I am puzzled. (and quite annoyed now)
