The issue was a relay, which meant that even with car off and locked the screen defrost stayed on and killed the battery over 5/6 hours. Been running fine since.

Excellent work by OPC Bolton.
My little quip about "switching it off" was written after a few glasses of wine :)

Good news that it was eventually sorted out, top marks to OPC Bolton for finding that fault, as is suspect it was not easy. Enjoy your car now>

Yes, the Macan lives outside. Would that make a difference?

It has been fine and I wrote to OPC Bolton and Reading about the great effort they put into this. Excellent bunch. Newcastle, well, they were less invested in fixing it as I didn't buy the car there (but that's where I live). I get that.

I was just curious. I'm guessing the offending screen was always clear during frosty nights/ mornings and the rest of the windows frozen?
