Good morning all
I know it’s probably been covered in the past but I wanted to get any up to date info . My car has just hit 80k and organising a big service . I have found a big difference in cost especially of PDK oil change... over £500 from Porsche, less than half that from independent Porsche specialist in Berkshire. Porsche say it’s impossible as that is the cost of parts alone ( oil , filters , seals)
Independent guy says he is using same as Porsche use .
Any thoughts or comments ?

I was quoted £450 by my local OPC for a PDK oil change with a major service. However I was told that although the car was 4 years old it didn’t need the PDK oil change as it was nowhere near 40k miles. I did ask if the price included a new gearbox.......

had mine done 3/6/2019 by my local indie, oil £107.04, filter £20.20, + VAT labour was included in 40k service.

So very reasonable

PDK oil change on my SD was £400 at my OPC but that was eighteen months ago. At 80k, I'd guess warranty is no longer an issue so if you trust your Porsche specialist why not go with the cheaper option.

The amount for PDK oil and filter change, on mine recently was about £400 too. But that included a discount for being a member of the Porsche Club. Well worth joining, if only for the discounts on OPC costs. Labour, and any parts, however purchased.

Decided to let Brooklands do it all , there is also a recall on my 2014 S d which they will do at the same time . A bit eye watering at £1200 main service , PDK oil change brake fluid change ... I declined the tyre sealant at just over £80 😬

Porsche Guildford is kind of close to Brooklands. Have you asked them for a quote too?

I used both Guildford and Brooklands. Can't really fault them.
