When washing my Macan, I’ve noticed that the front sliding section isn’t sitting completely flush with the rear fixed glass when closed, so was wondering if this is normal?

The roof operates perfectly and there are no water leaks 👍

Thanks, guys, however, I’ve found in the Macan Service Manual (P41) that the front glass to rear glass height gap dimension (D6) is actually 1 mm +/-0.5 mm, with the horizontal gap (D5) between the two glasses being 2.1 mm +/-0.5 mm.

Anyway, I’ll get my OPC to check and confirm if mine is correct and within tolerance.

Service Manual: 6X - BODY-EQUIPMENT OUTSIDE - GENERAL -- (95B) - MACAN

Porsche Macan

Allan,
Mine is also very slightly raised and no leaks.

Many thanks, JurassicMacan.......your gap looks pretty identical to mine, so I wonder if they changed the tolerance for the facelift models?

Many thanks, Steve.....certainly your front panel is completely flush with the rear one, so I’ll definitely get mine checked by my OPC.

Just to update this thread.......Portsmouth OPC adjusted the front glass panel today, and it is now sitting flush with the fixed rear panel, so I’m happy 👍👍
