A/C stopped working

I’d been driving around today.
With a mixture of A/C and having windows open.
I made a stop of about half an hour.
Then when restarting the car, the A/C was blowing warm air.
I’ve only had the car two weeks.
Is there something I could have done / missed. Causing the A/C not to work?
I drove for another half an hour. And A/C was still only blowing warm air.
Has any one else suffered something like this??

How old is the car? What settings are you using for the H+V? I guess you might have told us if you got any warning messages on the dash, but did you get anything like a 'low battery' warning? Has the car been laid up for a while, or only used for infrequent short trips?

Hi Nick
I’ve only bought the car two weeks ago from OPC.
No warnings on dash.
A/C was working ok after driving for around 3/4 hour. I just pulled into a supermarket to pick up a few things.
When coming back out A/C wouldn’t cool.

It may be something simple as it requires re gassing. It could have a leek somewhere. There are plenty of A/C recharges around, probably cheaper than OPC’s. But if only just purchased let them see to it.

Thanks
I’ll call OPC today.
And hopefully get in next week.
I’m away from home at the moment.

Hi
An update.
I’ve been out this morning.
Didn’t have Auto selected. With low fan speed.
And A/C seams to be working ok.
Cold air coming out.
Yesterday I tried most things. Putting A/C to Max, adjusting temp / fan speeds etc.
I’ll have to monitor and see if it remains ok.

I find it best to put it in Auto mode and leave it alone.

Remember that if you touch anything (apart from temp) it will instantly come out of Auto mode.

Yes, as above the best way to run this system is to leave AC on permanently, in auto mode and set to your preferred temperature. Once set, resist all temptations to fiddle with it! The system will do a far better job than you can of reaching the set temperature in the shortest time and dealing with any condensation that might occur occasionally.
