I have been getting some bumpy gear changes recently especially at low speed and cornering. No errors.

Checked around and it coul dbe a wheel speed sensor. Now I recently replaced my front left (after it threw a load of dash errors), so I checked my ODB scanner and sure enough zero speed on the rear right. Strange thing is it doesnt trigger any errors.

Changed the sensor for a new one - didnt solve the problem - still registering zero speed. Checked the sensor againt the front left - sensor is fine.

Could be the ABS wiring harness I guess - I ordered one but that ends in a few bare wires - whilst I am happy to get my hands dirty that is too far for me..

Just wondering if anyone else had a similar issue before I get booked into Bournemouth...?

Not a transfer box issue?

Does the car hesitate when pulling away from a standstill?

No. It seems to be when the 4wd is asking for a change in power delivery to the rear right (cornering). There is zero reading from rear right and that is confusing the ECU,

Is this the ABS sensor? I had one fail recently which caused a whole cascade of errors. The garage said that they needed to change all four wheel sensors rather than just one. Perhaps the fact that you only changed one is your problem?

Called a Speed Sensor (95B927803 or 804) but is part of the whole 4WD and ABS system I think.

interesting thought thanks. Could be the case... Worth a try as the sensors seem to be weak and fail around this time anyway so preventative...

My 2015 macan diesel in at porsche leeds. Thought was transfer gear issue with all usual symptoms. Turns out was a speed sensor. Hope they've diagnosed it correctly. Cost approx Β£120. Not sure whether it has a 10 year warranty? Appears this part has an extended warranty in US - should apply to UK but not sure.

Not funny in that US actually do have a 10yr warranty and the UK is being shafted as per ...
