Has anyone fitted a Pedal Commander PC09 throttle controller to their Macan and, if so, have you noticed an improvement in the throttle response?

Just curious, but what are you using your S for that makes you feel the throttle response needs improving? :)

Whilst I do normally have a few regular long drives per year, such as the 500 mile one to France I did last week, the majority of my local driving is urban, and that is where sometimes I feel there is a slight ‘lag’ in throttle response when pulling away, unless I select Sport mode, hence why I’m considering a Pedal Commander....or maybe I should just ‘boot’ the accelerator more!! 🤣🤣

Are you sure it is the throttle response rather than the usual slight delay with a DSG/PDK gearbox at low speeds and especially away from the sports mode.

Would pedal commander actually do anything different than moving to sports mode so why pay extra and arise warranty issues for something you already have?

I actually like the "license saving" ease with which the car can be driven gentle in urban areas.

I’m sure it is partly due to the PDK delay, which was also a ‘feature’ of my previous Audi Q5 DSG, however, I think it is also partly due to the electronic throttle response.

If you have a read of how the Pedal Commander works, you’ll see that it doesn’t affect the revs at which the PDK changes gears which, when in Sport mode, hangs onto higher revs before gear up changes, so it is different than using Sport mode as it makes the throttle more responsive.

That's something that would certainly void the warranty and create problems if it malfunctioned and caused an accident.
