Almost certainly. You won’t be able to do online searches or Over the Air updates (already mentioned I think)

Check what is included in the subscription and you will see the reason why.

Depends on your use case and perception of value in such things but I don’t think it’s unreasonable and is useful these days so, while I chose not to have it the Macan, I would do it now and have renewed the subscription for the 911.MTUK wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 5:42 pmI haven't subscribed yet as I use Apple car play .... but for 119 quid I suppose I better had!Nuclear Nick wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 4:36 pm Almost certainly. Be aware that the cars have a recall for a software update and I understand Google Earth is no longer licensed. Porsche uses another vendor for mapping

How old is the car? I know some time ago Google changed the whole way google Earth/Maps is licensed. It used to be freeware and then Google added licensing, depending on how you used it ie privately or commercially. If Porsche didn’t agree to pay for license then it wouldn’t work any more. But if new Porsche’s also use Google then I wouldn’t have thought that was the issue.
Assuming the free period has expired.
Is your My Porsche account live?
If it is have you subscribed?
