Hey guys, when I turned the lights to Auto, the headlight is always on recently. Not sure why, any suggestions?

Winter is coming and it's gloomy! Mine are on most off the time too now ☹

Is it not just daytime running lights?

They do seem very sensitive (I suppose better that way)

I often just switch lights off - daytime running lights only....

I wish BMW & Porsche could exchange some information on these systems. I found the Auto headlights on my BMW worked just right, while the auto wipers would either hardly wipe or go into crazy monsoon mode with little variance in-between.
I'm finding the opposite in the Macan; auto wipers seem to respond quite well to varying levels of rain, while the Auto lights are way too sensitive

What type of headlights do you have? If they are halogen then the inside headlight functions as a daytime running light.

Regardless of light type, the auto function seems to turn the lights on at the slightest dip in lighting levels, particularly if the sun is behind you.
