My 2020 Macan S is shortly due it’s first Year 2 Inspection & oil change service and brake fluid change, so I’ve contacted several Southern based OPC’s for quotes, and I’ve been surprised at the large discrepancies between their prices:-

Year 2 Inspection & oil change: £500.82 / £617.82 / £660.66 / £684.39 / £691.00 / £788.99

Brake fluid change: £125.00 / £138.50 / £214.16 / £220.00

I would be very interested to hear what others have recently been charged for these services 👍

Meanwhile, I really can’t understand why Porsche don’t have published fixed pricing for the various services, which would be fairer for all owners 🤔🤔

It’s a great idea to put these prices on the forum as well as OPC they belong to. On this basis from your research, it would be cheaper to drive to the cheaper one and stay in an hotel overnight if far enough away!
I wonder what we can do to bring more pressure to stop the obvious OPC profiteering on these services?

I agree that if Allan doesn’t mind, it would be really useful to forum members. The info is clearly freely available, and it would be no bad thing if Porsche owners started to vote with their feet!

Cheers,
Simon

There used to be a Porsche fixed price servicing tariff, that many, but not all OPCs stuck to. Sadly, it appears that this has been discontinued, so some OPCs are now clearly banging up the prices to the most that they feel they can get away with... 💰 💰 💰

This was Tonbridge, though the quote was £404.82 excluding the 7.5 litres of oil, as I will be supplying the Mobil 1 ESP 0W-20 (Porsche C20 specification), so have added £96 to cover the oil cost.

Were you supplying the oil for the most expensive quote too? (£788.99)

It would be nice to know which brake service quote goes with which service quote so a total can be seen.

Also nice to know what if anything and at what cost any courtesy car is available.

Bearing in mind where Allen is resident I assume he approached Bournemouth and Portsmouth. if so did they quote similar/same as the same owner., Inchcape

Also is like being compared with like as I know one of these OPC's includes a litre of top-up oil and a bottle of washer fluid in its quotes.

I have found a copy of the fixed price menu from about 2018/2019, 2year service £430 and brake fluid change £95. Major service at 4 years £530

As requested, I’ve added which OPC the prices belong to, with explanations regarding the oil supply:-

Year 2 Inspection & oil change: £404.82 Tonbridge, with me providing the oil / £588.39 Bournemouth, with me providing the oil / £617.82 Guildford, with them providing the oil / £660.66 Mid Sussex, with them providing the oil / £692.99 Portsmouth, with me providing the oil.

Portsmouth charge £96 for 7.5 litres of oil, and I used this price to add to the Tonbridge, Bournemouth and Portsmouth quotes in my original post.....apologies for any confusion! 🤔

Brooklands quoted £911.98 for Year 2 Inspection, including oil & brake fluid change, or £811.10 for both without the oil.

Mid Sussex and Guildford will not let you provide your own oil....that’s their company policy!!

Brake fluid change: £125.00 Portsmouth & Bournemouth / £138.50 Tonbridge / £214.16 Mid Sussex / £220.00 Guildford / Brooklands didn’t provide a separate quote, so I’ve estimated a worst case of £220.00

I hope this answers your questions @pmg, though it is VERY difficult to compare like for like, as the majority of the OPC’s don’t seem to use the same quoting layout, but I’ve tried to compare the best I can!

Thanks, Last late March, I paid £821,52 including oil and all fluids and top up oil and washer fluid at Portsmouth but was not charged for the winter to summer wheelset swop I had previously been quoted £99 for but with free storage. At the time I bought the winter wheel set Mid Sussex wanted £150 for storage and £100 per swop.

The Fixed Price menu quote of £430 from 2018/19 mentions supply of litre of top up oil
