Cooling fan runs after short trip Macan SD
Is it normal for the cooling fan to run after a normally driven a five mile drive? It runs for about 10 minutes then goes down to a low drone for a further 5 minutes then all quiet. Anyone know where the fuse is for the fan incase it does not switch off. Thanks in advance.
I'm sure it is quite normal. I have never timed mine but it does seem to run for ages. Not sure if it mentions anything in the handbook.
I was just about to look for a fuse in a previous Audi as I was sure there was a fault. It had been running for at least 10 minutes.

Happened on my previous GTS.
Personally didn’t find it a concern and just thought it was doing it’s thing.

It's a bit surprising to get this after a five mile run. At this time of year, an SD would not have warmed up in this distance (water temperature maybe but definitely not oil). Have you checked the coolant level?

Are your radiator flaps opening? I've just swapped my SD for a turbo and surprised to see the flaps open having never seen the radiator from the front on the SD
