This is exactly the sort of thing that starts panic buying !
My friends out back in the Arctic, AKA Uk, have all said they’re having problems obtaining Diesel. And they have had to search for it, with many outlets having none at all. They also said that two weeks ago drivers were panic buying.
I have just seen a petition from another source wanting the Government to reduce the tax cost for HGV’s, due to the rising costs, which will push food prices up.
They’ve “all said that” have they???
This kind of mindless rumour (bullshit) spreading is why we all encourage those who do it to live elsewhere!

A coupon system like the 70s(the era of reader the daily mail is aimed at) - complete and utter nonsense. I’ll line up with my ration book at the same time…
Apparently they did actually send out the ration coupons for fuel in the 70’s but never implemented it.

All who I’ve spoke to have said the same. Where do you live?, where your head is, in the clouds.

I have still got mine from the early 70’s, saving them for posterity. Might be adding more too them, it it’s right. OMG

I'm sure that it will sort itself out. There is not a worldwide shortage of crude oil.
I'm sure at the current overinflated prices Saudi and others will up their production.
Actually, looking tonight at the FT energy commodity price page both across gas and fuels, the peak prices were at the start of the month and since they have fallen and are in the middle of the 52-week range

Our 3 local councils are struggling to get fuel deliveries at the moment, there have been emergency meetings.
