Looking at my invoice and I see the sum of £169.40 deducted for Clutch Fluid. Presumably they mean auto gearbox fluid as I have not yet heard of a manual gearbox in the Macan !

The PDK ‘box has both clutch and transmission fluid separately.

Are you sure about that Nick? I know the Transfer Box and Transmission take different fluids but as there is no torque convertor I can't see why the transmission itself would need two different fluids.

The Macan has a dual clutch rather than a torque converter. The clutch is a "wet" clutch so it sits in an oil bath!

No, not now! Think I misread the generic service schedule in haste rather than Macan specific one which only has transmission fluid change at six years or 40k miles. Good challenge! :oops:

The "Clutch Fluid" that is on the invoice is 7 (presumably litres) at £24.20 per litre and this comes to £169.40. Porsche dealer in Perth, Scotland. Bluenose1812 do you think the quantity is wrong?
