If you can, suggest you give them a pressure jet wash and then drive and hit them hard for a few miles, if it persists get your OPC to take a look, good luck

Thanks Mike. That's exactly what I did and its gone!!!! I suffer with a "disease" which encourages me to keep my baby all nice and clean in my garage and not use it as much as I should. Must be therefore that some particles accumulated and were cleared with the jet. Wish somebody can help me treat this condition as it seems so silly not using it more..........

Never tried the pressure wash.
Had a squeak once after it being on the drive for 2 days.
This is a very strange occurence, it being static.
Haven't heard it since. But then, it hasn't been static since either.
Cheers

I am currently experiencing a high level of squeeling on my brakes too. It sounds like i have rats on my wheels!
Is this sign of the brake pads needs changing? or is it just dust?
My car is still under warranty and if i change my brake pads to EBC low dust pads - would it affect my warranty?

Its quite annoying in the summer as the window is down and you tend to hear it much more than ever!!

You should have a warning on the MFD if you have pad wear issues.

More likely that you have picked up some grit and that is causing the problem.

A visit to your OPC under warranty for them to clear out the problem.

Someone here may well say find a wide open road, get up to speed and undertake an emergency stop or two for that to clear the problem, me let the OPC deal with the matter.

If you have a look on YouTube, there is a piece on there from Porsche, explaining brake squeal. A few very hard applications from a high speed should better it. (not increase the squeal)
