Ipod Control via PCM.
Reckon it might be me then.
Does it matter which iPod menu you're on when you connect it?
Can you control the iPod when it's plugged in?
I'm thinking maybe if I plug it in when it's on shuffle, then it just reads that menu rather than the very top one.
Thanks guys for the input, I now know it's not the PCM, it must be my iPod or the way I'm connecting it
It may be a time for as my IT mate always says, and is always right "turn it off and turn it on again"

If I recall correctly I wasn't able to operate the iPod from it's 'wheel' control once it was plugged into the car. I had to operate it from the PCM, however the PCM operation worked pretty much the same way as the iPod menus.

Old thread I know but I am interested in the 2016 PCM. What cable works with iPod Classic? On my old X5 I had to use a Y cable, USB and Audio jack into car.
