What to improve/fix in the Macan - wishes list

Recall default last used audio input
Quicker bluetooth mp3 music from phone recognition
Better visors (feel cheap, small and unilluminated)
Change peak convex body shape from trolley/parked car door height.
Adjustability of auto lights on (mine stay on for ages)
Slightly more substantial front and rear widescreen wipers
Include seat heating as part of settings/key preset?
Auto mirrors-in on key lock is a glaring omission
DAB to FM flips back and forward with low signal
More substantial wheel stalks for indicators etc - feel flimsy and non premium
Allow selecting fog lights on when in auto

The auto lights time can be adjusted as can the rear wiper - as I've just discovered in Good to Know.

Have the tracker connect to Bluetooth on the phone instead of that silly extra key fob. I never go out without the phone so it would work much better. Apparently Aston Martin do this now.

Remove cup holders or at least have a nice cover for them.
I never used them except for putting my phone in.

Rear seats to move back to create a bit more legroom and less boot space. Same as what Audi did with rear bench plus on Q5. Works well.

+1. With major bottle space promoted in the doors how many drinks do people need? I for one would never be caught waving a warm coffee around my Macan - especially when driving.

But mostly if there are cups or bottles in those cup holders it blocks access to Sport button. 😠

another +1 (the cover idea. I think the cup holes are one of the only f-ugly parts of the car!)

Comments on various posts:

You can skip tracks by programming the diamond button. Works with iPod and phone via bluetooth.

Radio always comes on at startup - I've seen this comment a lot but if I switch off with the iPod playing it starts up with the iPod playing at exactly the point in the track where it was when I switched off. No matter which radio band I'm on (DAB, FM or MV) it starts up on the same waveband I was on when I switched off. Same goes if I'm using my phone to play music via bluetooth. I can't remember making any special settings I'm PCM. It's just always worked the way.

Storage - I find cupholders verge on the side of unnecessary but having said that they are useful for storing sunglasses.

Speedo on left hand dial - I read sometime ago that this is a legal requirement. In a digital age it seems to have been superseded but law changes can take some time.

Rev counter dial - my car (2015 Macan S petrol) came with a grey dial which is easy to read in daylight and at night. Did some versions come with a black dial? I didn't order the grey dial. It was just there when I picked up the car??
