Is it possible to switch off the daylight running lights (xenons fitted)? I have a tight fit getting into my garage so rely on mirrors to guide me in, at night the daylight running lights just blind me so make it almost impossible to garage the car.

Try switching lights to sidelight/parking position - In this thread it was suggested DRL off in that position but I haven't tried it.
Getting into Garage is why I spec'd surround view camera

Yep me too, but my mirrors are essential given the 30mm each side!

I think doorway on mine is that tight (it would have been tighter with mirrors folded before I got a new garage door) - I always back the car into garage - so DRL/headlights and don't recall any issue with DRL causing issues.
What I find irritating is the red/yellow overlay blocking the surround display so I can't workout how close I am to things

Yes the overlay is a real pain. I thought it was just me being picky, such a shame as the surround view is generally a great help and one I am glad I specced.
