regarding issue 1, see my comments and B737NGWS comments in the post: what's your worst rattle ? It is likely to be the cover on the underside of the dash, the one above your shins in the driver side footwell. It is poorly fastened. Mine is now fixed with double sided tape in various spots.

Did you ever managed to trace or fix your rattle/buzz ? I have something similar to the blown speaker sound at 1300 to 1900 rpm but can't work out where it comes from. Also only seems to happen when the car is moving as I can't reproduce the noise by reving the engine while it is in neutral.

Would welcome any thoughts.
