PCM App configuration
Just a thought. You have logged in in the car? I recall having the option to stay in, need pin each time, or associate with Bluetooth device. I found I couldn't do the latter because I use CarPlay (it disables BT) so used former.

I had the exact same issue, all looks fine on desktop but nothing in the Car so I understand where you are coming from. spooky I was adding the same News channels that you were adding. ive given up on this now, just another Porsche tech glitch to add to the list!! if I do find a way around it ill let you know but ill continue sticking pins in my eyes for the moment, its less frustrating and not as painful.
Now sorted.. !PBT147 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2017 2:58 pm I had the exact same issue, all looks fine on desktop but nothing in the Car so I understand where you are coming from. spooky I was adding the same News channels that you were adding. ive given up on this now, just another Porsche tech glitch to add to the list!! if I do find a way around it ill let you know but ill continue sticking pins in my eyes for the moment, its less frustrating and not as painful.
As Goron suggested, I was actually logged out on the car PCM without knowing. I assumed I was logged in as everything else was working but the logging in connects you to the online portal.
Once I logged in again the news feeds came up so give it a try.
Phew, if that wasn't the case, it would have been a real mystery!Sidscott wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2017 4:03 pm Now sorted.. !

When you logged in originally, using the pairing code, you were offered 3 choices.
1. use pairing code each time you get in the car
2. associate with a bluetooth device (phone)
3. store the code, so it's always logged in.
If you pick 3, you are logged out. If you picked 2 and don't have same bluetooth device and BT is not on or device is being used for CarPlay, you are logged out.
In the car, Home -> Apps, the OPT button. The pairing code is an 8-digit code, which you must enter in the APPS menu in the PCM so that you can take over your personal services configuration from the Porsche Connect portal. You will find the pairing code in the detailed view of a vehicle under My vehicles in the Porsche Connect portal.
You'll have login/out info there. And reload services. And a few other things.

As Goron says, go to Apps>opt and you will see the top option is either log in or log out to check your status.
