I wonder how he knew that?PJS wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2017 7:39 pm Just seen this thread. 6 months old and 11,000 miles no problems. That said, it was in last week for a new rear reflector and service guy said it could do with a re-gen, I said go on then, and 30 mins later i'm off again. It's rarely driven in anger, just tends to trundle around.

Had my first DPF warning last week and because I've driven 29,000km without a warning I had to wait til I got home to read what it meant. I was not worried because we had spent the morning driving up the side of a mountain range and so of course the afternoon was spent mainly braking on the way down. I assume the filter got bunged up during the drive down. After driving home later on normal roads the fault light cleared.
Not bad after 29,000km. Good that it cleared easilycoulsda2 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 12, 2017 8:14 am Had my first DPF warning last week and because I've driven 29,000km without a warning I had to wait til I got home to read what it meant. Fingers crossed for you, I had done 15,000 miles 12 months ownership, no problems, got the dreaded sign twice last week, thought I had cleared it but now got the Engine Control Fault (Yellow) up, tried running for longer period at 2,000 rpm but sign wont go away, booked in to OPC now to checkcoulsda2 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 12, 2017 8:14 am Had my first DPF warning last week and because I've driven 29,000km without a warning I had to wait til I got home to read what it meant.
