New message notification tone wont disable.

So I've had my 2.0 Macan for just over a month now and all is good apart from a really annoying feature. Whenever I get into the car I have to manually disable the signal tone for incoming messages which chimes not only for txt but for e-mail as well which gets really old really quickly. In my previous SD the when I disabled the tone it was remembered the setting.

Anyone else having similar issues or managed to get a permanent fix? Phone is a Samsung Galaxy S8.

That's a good shout! I'll give it a try when my wife gets home.

Didn't work. Tried turning the setting off and then setting the key memory again but when I got in the car this morning it had reset itself. :(

I never found a fix for it other than buying a Cayenne.

Total thread revival but did anyone ever figure out a solution to this?

My local dealership service department was useless in trying to resolve this issue. You'd think they never saw an android before.
By the way 'get an iPhone' is not the solution I'm looking for, that is 100% not happening.
