Just seen (today) that you can input your own VIN number in the app, presumably to make it simpler when choosing versions and model years etc.

Not tried it yet (being a US based thingy it might not recognise UK VIN) but I’ll give it a go later.)

all it does is retrieve a configurator type picture of your spec, it doesn't affect the version/model year choice.

..so a song and dance over nothing then.... ....surely just as easy to put the right version up by VIN.....? Hey ho....
