I know I've missed something (WingCo no I didn't miss Carmine Red!).

Nick, I succumbed to a slightly upgraded interior as did you but not much else.
Do you have a build date VanB?
Yes my build is January due to OPC 23/02 but won’t take delivery before 01/03 obviously!

VanB like your spec very much - I also said this to Nick, as you've added GTS interior package, I'd be inclined to also add the red stitching but understand that you have to stop somewhere.

Looking forward to seeing it as it's quite similar to my previous one except the glass roof.

Thanks Arif - I had interesting advice from the SE who said GTS pack was worthwhile but contrast stitching was a bit marmite when it came to resale. Also advised against the sunroof which I had originally specced. I was determined to keep it reasonably lightly optioned but still ended up at nearly £115k [emoji15]

Love the spec VanB. It would be very similar to what I would go for.

Any reason for not having folding Wing mirrors?

You don’t get sports design mirrors with folding mirrors and its arse is wider than the mirrors in any case!

VanB Are you sure? The sports design mirrors on the Macan are folding. Why wouldn't the 911 SD mirrors not fold.

Don't know why 911 SD mirrors can't fold when Macan's can but I just played with the configurator and it's true.

Just played for a while with 911 specs on the configurator and my immediate thought was what good value the Macan seems in comparison. I know the 911 is a different beast but crikey it soon gets very very expensive to get anywhere near the spec of my turbo.

Anhh, the age-old debate!😉

I recall when the general opinion on the forum was that the sport design mirrors on the Macan didn’t fold (precisely because those on the 911 didn’t!)

I think it took SPL (or Merlin?) to actually order their Macan with SD mirrors to confirm they did indeed fold in.

Now, I can’t explain why........!😂
