In the settings menu, (where the oil temperature, pressure etc are) click on the RH scroll button and it will allow you to change the displayed options. I sometimes put in the altitude just for amusement.

To add a few words to what Nick says above: it's the normal charging voltage if the battery is not fully charged. When the battery is fully charged the voltage (with the engine running above idle) is around 13V. Try just turning the ignition on and look at the reading before you start the engine. If the voltage is much below 11.8V you need to take the car out for a long run (or put it on charge).Nuclear Nick wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2018 9:59 amThat would be the normal charging voltage with the engine running.

Do you see a yellow A in the binacle which is crossed out (yellow strike through) when the car is stationary?Makanik wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2018 6:24 pm After 15k miles in my Macan 2.0, I noticed that the stop/start function no longer ever cuts in. Although I do mainly shortish trips (sub 10 miles), this issue persists even when the car is fully warmed up.
The button to suppress auto stop/start is not selected, and Sport mode is off.
Also, the car now never seems to go into coast mode. I guess the two issues are linked. Fuel consumption seems around 10% worse as a result.
I wonder if the battery just needs a good long run? Any thoughts appreciated.

Yes, that symbol now comes straight on every time the car stops. Even when the engine is fully warmed up and all other the pre conditions seem to be met.Nosmo wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2018 12:21 pmDo you see a yellow A in the binacle which is crossed out (yellow strike through) when the car is stationary?Makanik wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2018 6:24 pm After 15k miles in my Macan 2.0, I noticed that the stop/start function no longer ever cuts in. I am of the opinion that Kasfranks99 post on page one answers this. The ASS works (pardon the expression) but some of the parameters which would protect the electronics / battery apply. If in doubt, visit the OPC if that isn't too much trouble.

Don't know what you're complaining about.
I'd be quite happy not to have to disable SS every time I get in the car!

Far better to buy a battery conditioner/charger such as a CTEK (£60/£70) and use it as often as you think you need. Of course you need to be able to get a mains lead to the car.
My CTEK stays in the boot, plugged into the Aux power supply and I use it at least once a month in the winer, no issues.
However, even with a fully charges battery, sometimes my StSt will not activate, probably due to heated seats on/low ambient temp.
Just a bit annoying because I like StSt operating in traffic, I leave it on all the time. It wasn't great on the SD, but on the S, its rapid and seamless, never an issue.
