First fault and it’s a biggy
Some good news DNR17, but as you say, not exactly what you want to here. Tell me, how did Porsche Assistance work out?

Intermittent faults are the worst to trace. I had a Volvo that did something similar and that took a lot of finding. Turned out to be a dodgy connection on the fuel pump relay.

Surely the dealer will deliver the car - or have it delivered to you?

Hi all, Porsche Assist was ok, kept me informed of AA arrival time. He couldn’t help, so AA told me he had arranged recovery of the car. I waited approx 15mins, then I called Porsche again, they called recovery and told me it would take a further 30mins to arrive. I asked them if I could leave the car as it was literally freezing! But told no, I had to remain with the car.
Recovery arrived, but had already got my wife to come to me to get some warmth from her 100% reliable Evoque whole process took approx two hours of my life!
Yes the car will be delivered back to me and I have a brand new Merc C Class to use in the meantime, so it’s not all bad.
Porsche dealer keeping me informed by text and phone couple of times a day. Maybe getting it back tomorrow. But I’m happy for them to keep it as long as they need it...
Overall, I have the feeling of being appreciated by Porsche.
Alex, good to hear from you, hope all going well with your Macan.

Update!
They believe they have found the fault, Its a wiring fault at a plug to the DME. What are the chances of that?
Hope to get her back tomorrow...

Good news. And also about the way Porsche Assistance worked which is reassuring. About as efficient as it could be, I guess - albeit you got your cods frozen off!
