I have a Macan S Petrol 3.0 15 model
Of late I have noticed a harsh rumble which sounds as if its coming from underside or exhaust. Worse when colder, when slowing or in idle.
Notmally nice exhaust noise which im accustomed to but this is new/different.
Any thoughts?

Nothing obvious under the car? If it's making the noise when stationary at idle, can you locate the area it's coming from? Does the noise change or disappear when you blip the throttle at rest? Have you struck any debris in the road that might have damaged the exhaust?

Thanks. Cant see anything underside and dont recall any trauma events. Can definitely change the noise with a throttle boost. Noise most noticeable when slow, low revs, slowing to a junction etc.
It is subtle though and not consistent , would be worried if I took it in wouldnt easily be able to replicate.

Read elsewhere about a common fault with mid bracket issue causing exhaust vibration at low revs. Apparently needs replaced.
