My OPC will likely have additional stock cars, particularly 718's, even pre-registered cars and are already sourcing more used cars. They have arranged additional parking space to accommodate more cars on site than usual.

Not mention the dealerships......how are they going to make a living with nothing to sell?
Maybe they're building up a reserve of non worked days by the steelworkers so they work 5 day weeks for the next 5 years?

That's easy - just stick the service costs up and the markup on used cars.
Mark up on used cars cars indeed. I have just sold my 1 yr old, 9600 mile pefect condition Macan S privately. The OPC that expected my trade in, listed the car knowing they might not get it, my buyer saw the listing and alerted me, we both saw their asking price and agreed a price between the two. Their mark up would have been 21% for little or no work.

My 14 month old 11.5k miles GTS has been listed by the buying OPC at more than I paid for it. Not sure how that works 😳

The local OPC have mine on sale at very strong money as well, it seems like there wont be many cut price second hand deals available this year.

My OPC are mail-shotting their customers offering to buy back Porsches!

Writing to owners of Porsches previously sold or serviced through them.

Spoke to the Opc today as my financial situation now puts me in a position to buy a Macan :D :D . I asked him about the factory shut downs ... and the updates for the Diesel/Petrol upgrades . According to him the Stuttgart factory’s is closing in or for them to get it ready for the mission E, he said the only engine built there is for the 911.. so may be some disruption. All other engines will not be affected so s/GTS/ turbo and diesel unaffected ( apart from the fix thing! So all can be ordered. Not sure about the second hand price rise.. but if new sales have died then they obviously need stock and need a larger mark up on second hand value to plug the loss from new sales.
