Looks like I managed to squeeze a good price out of them, but I had a firm straight offer for even more from a London dealer so they had to match it. Still very much a Diesel market over here so a petrol SUV has a limited audience.

In one go. Obviously stuck it on high to test the market and why not. I’m sure they will still make a few quid and they have the sale of the new 911 to help balance the books.

He's misinformed I'm afraid. Zuffenhausen makes ALL the Porsche petrol engines. I saw them being assembled there last June. And the Mission E factory, while on the same site, is separate from the other facilities there. The shutdown is to prepare for the installation of post combustion particulate filters to all petrol engine vehicles.
