I suspect the drain for fuel overflow may be blocked

I can see by the tide mark that it may have been like this for a while, does anyone else have the same problem?

It's a very small hole and will get blocked quite easily. Maybe some gentle prodding with a cocktail stick or length of single strand wire will clear it. In the past, with other cars, I've given it a few blasts with compressed air.

All our cars (4) suffer from this....crud and rubbish slow the drain down...insert your little finger and give a wiggle (a bit like cleaning your ears😊!)

Nice fuel cap by the way👍

Aluminium look fuel cap at £93 when specified at build (today’s prices). Had it on the Macan and specced it on the 911 despite a number of people on the forum ridiculing it to a number of members who optioned it.

A little water squirted from the garden hose into the hole, every wash has so far kept it clean. Do make sure the filler cap is on tight before you attempt it.....
