Zero and minus one this morning, cruised over a very wet field ok on the way out but there was only just enough grip to get back slightly uphill.

Not too bad as i can see a two tractors stuck from our conservatory!

My Wife's Golf GTD is stuck halfway up a hill to our house...wide tyres + torque = not moving...tried all the normal things, and nope...it's hopeless in the snow...the merc on winters is far more compliant.

the A6 allroad is behind a foot of snow just now too, but it's on the drive...and I'm not moving it!

Not even to rescue the missus? She must have left dinner on the stove for you.

It was me that left it there...there’s no shifting it. Well there is, backwards and take another run at it, but hill plus corner just isn’t playing ball!

Would be great if she did that, but millenial wife = me doing the cooking...

Maybe she’d be better at driving in snow than me??? Haha

P.s. I’m fine at driving in the snow, just not that car on rhat hill...

Without being a bit risky with speed (or putting appropriate tyres on the car) i don’t think it’s got a chance...

Happy for someone to prove me wrong! Ha

Yep, had a -2 on my oil this morning too, first time for me with that one, ever, in any car.

Found driving to work was best in 'off-road'. Puts the power equally front & back and to give the Macan his due, very sure-footed in the snow and frozen roads this morning despite having summer tyres on.

Can't justify AW or Winters down here in the Beautiful South. Had the car two years and this is the first decent snow I've had to contend with.

My GTD got stuck on an embarrassingly shallow incline. I couldn't pull off in second even in manual so snow socks on and it was fine. Mind you, the tyres were 14 degrees below their minimum operating temperature!
