Brakes clunking when cooling down

All

I have the Macan Turbo with performance pack. It has now covered 5k miles. Does anybody else get a noise coming from the brakes at the end of the journey when you have switched the engine off?

It is like a loud clunking / clanging noise coming from around the brake area? Like 2 spammers being hit together?

Is this normal?

Thanks

Yes it's normal, particularly if the last part of the journey has involved some heavy braking. You'll also get noises from the exhaust system as it cools down. Turbo charged engines with catalysts generate very high temperatures in the exhaust system and it's normal to hear metallic noises as it cools and shrinks.

I do understand that but never had any noises like that from my previous 2 M5’s?
