I’ve notice a faint chirping bird type noise similar to a quiet trim phone ring tone from my GTS engine around 1100 rpm.
Anybody else reported this?

I have seen this on here before, from what I remember the opc said it was in noise tolerance.

That’s a great way of saying they have no idea what it is, it probably won’t explode and they are not going to go looking for its cause!

I would explain to the OPC that such a noise may be within Porsche noise tolerance levels but it was not within MY noise tolerance levels!

Thanks all, I might ring service dept. to see if they are aware of the issue on other cars then get it checked out when convenient.

I have a chirping / warbling noise but mines at idle. Is it the same as my noise?

Does the sound disappear when idling in sport mode?

Yes Ian, just been out again and it is actually at idle and the same noise as yours!

I went to porsche last week about this and the technican came back with that its the air con even though its happens to mine with a/c off.
