This question keeps cropping up, and it's always user error, not the car.

As above, leave the system in A/C auto, set to around 21C. The default settings in the menus are best so hopefully you haven't messed these up. The inside surfaces of the glass must be squeaky clean too but since it's a new car should be OK.

Operated correctly the car doesn't mist up.

Probably the least misty car I have ever had. Just none. Perhaps a little when the door is first opened on a cold morning but goes in seconds.

“Operated correctly the car does not mist up”

An interesting take on it Nuclear Nick. The operator (i.e. me) seems to have managed to keep the windscreen mist free on all his previous cars and dozens of rental cars overs the years without the trouble of the Macan system.
21 degrees is hotter than I’d ever have cabin temperature set to. It’s actually the auto settings that I believe cause the system to be so temperamental, it seems to be trying so hard, almost overshoots the required temperature , to compensate it reduces everything to minimum and the mist appears again.

I too have never had a misting issue on the Macan.

Alfanut, are all of the following lights permanently on - ‘A/C’, ‘Auto’ and ‘Synch’?

And what temperature do you select?

Must be some unusual combination of factors, mine has never misted up.

The Jimny screen was sometimes totally soaked on the inside.

AC, auto and sync appear to work for us.

Ours never mists up - Auto - Sync - Temp set to either 21 (wife) or 18 (me). On a hot day though, the fan can be a little noisy trying to get the cabin down to 18 after it's been sitting in the sun so I revert to her 21 setting.

◇◇◇ if its been In the sun / hot on entry then press the re-circulation button until the desired (lower( temperature is reached. It's quicker and soon quieter that way.

I too have never had a mist up issue and set in the way the others have said.
