its the same for the front and the back.
rang porsche kendal and the service department told me to go and read my manual and check the fuses.
anyone got any ideas?

Do you hear the pump running when you operate the washers? What fluid do you/have you used?

Not a very helpful reply from the dealership - if you can gear the pump whirring then the fuse would be the first port of call. Ask them which fuse it is and in which fuse box (there are 3)
Spare fuses of various sizes are in the lid of the box. If it’s not the fuse then pump / switch are the next points to eliminate.
Mind you, technically, you should not drive a car with inoperative washers.....call Porsche assist!

I assume your headlight washers and rear washers dont work either?

Its suspicious that its just had a service, porsche windscreen fluid is known to produce a gunk if it is mixed with some brands of fluid, if thats the case they will charge you to clean out the washer bottle and pipes

Do you mean if you can't hear the pump running, check the fuse Paul?

Fuses don’t just blow for no reason, so good idea to book it in to find out why it blew. Might be a seized pump or short circuit etc.

“Every wheeled vehicle required by paragraph (1) to be fitted with a wiper or wipers shall also be fitted with a windscreen washer capable of cleaning, in conjunction with the windscreen wiper, the area of the windscreen swept by the wiper of mud or similar deposit.”
I think I would be pushing for a vehicle to keep me legally on the road for the next couple of weeks.
