Transfer box - Survey of members
Had mine replaced today, 22nd Nov 19 at 15k miles.
June 2017 Macan GTS in Carmine red with 21” gloss black sport classics, GTS leather package, Air, PASM, PDLS+, pano roof, Sports Chrono, 18 way seats, BOSE, surround view, heated seats front and rear, carbon side blades and carbon interior package.
Anyone had two transfer cases replacements? I had mine done like 6 months ago but recently I have been getting a hesitation when accelerating from a stop. It almost feels like the car jumps. I have also had some hesitation at really low speeds (this has has only occurred once or twice). Both issues seem to be much worse when cars warned up after 45+ mins of driving.

Could be worth trying a PDK reset.Don16 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 7:13 pm Anyone had two transfer cases replacements? The 'standard' test for transfer case issues is to reverse on full lock, preferably on smooth level Tarmac. Classic sign of problem is the car feeling like it is hopping and tyres on opposite sides skidding on the road surface.

Your car's symptoms are quite close to the ones that I had back in February 2018. The replacement transfer box you had will have come with a two year warranty so if Nick's suggested PDK reset doesn't work then I would take the car back to your OPC and ask them to check it out.Don16 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 7:13 pm Anyone had two transfer cases replacements? Did yours turn out to be transfer case?
Yes Don, it was.

I started this thread after having two transfer boxes replaced within two years.
Has the issue been resolved on the facelift cars?
Thanks
