Watch out if buying used, I've just found out that a standard solution for Honda and Mazda transfer box failure is to remove the transfer box and prop shaft.

Hopefully with the Macan being set up as a rear wheel car (80%) this wouldn't be possible with Porsche.....

I'd assumed that the transfer box was at the rear and pushed power forwards to the front wheels in this instance?

I'm not 100% sure but assumed that the transfer box was at the back of the engine sending power to the rear wheels.
April 2016 Macan S (Petrol) 26K miles. Just had MOT and oil change. No transfer box issues (yet!)
OPC very helpful and accepted box was a design/manufacturing fault.
April 2016 2.0 petrol just had MOT & all 4 tyres changed at 23,000 miles
Booked in for Oil change 1st. week april & to investigate transfer box problem before warranty runs out.
